HISTORY
It is in Tahiti that came the idea to reproduce
synthetically the palm leafs. Knowing that natural palm leaves was a
world shortage object, and that this one deteriorated within 5 years ,
the inventor, Mr Jean-Louis Steiner, started to imagine a way of
accurately reproducing the beauty of these thatch roofs. Challenge of
size to perpetuate a material which composes the architectural
landscape since so a long time and in such a widespread way. Imagine
the impact! Of a threatened and extremely friable product, a material
answering to high requirements became accessible. Indeed, the
discovery carried out to the possibility of building roofs:
-
Reproducing to mistaken the charm of thatch;
-
Guarantees 20 years;
-
Resisting to the atmospheric agents: heat, snow,
freezing, etc.
-
Adaptable to all climates;
-
Entirely recyclable;
-
Does not require any maintenance.
It is thanks to this new Palmex leaf that it is
possible to reproduce the exotic outlook in our own home properties,
the spirit of the islands in spite of our climate.
